A little about me...
For as long as I can remember the human mind has fascinated me. I have honed in on this interest by using my knowledge of the brain and how we perceive things to design and develop easy to use technology.
Using my expertise in user centered design methodologies, I enjoy helping companies develop a solid foundation for their product development process. I have a strong track record of data-driven strategies that have transformed the vision for global products across various industries.
In my current role, I am predominantly managing and mentoring a diverse group of UX and human factors practitioners on their projects. While I still roll up my sleeves and craft prototypes or act as the primary investigator in usability studies, my focus has primarily been on developing 30+ global project strategies, rebuilding and promoting a new user experience process that better aligns with regulations and best practices, as well as standardizing outputs to ensure consistency and quality of work for the organization. Due to this and the highly secure industry I have been involved in, the projects in this portfolio only capture a small snippet of design work I did early in my career. The process behind these projects is most important which is why I still maintain this seemingly outdated portfolio. When I am not designing innovative solutions, you will find me traveling, hiking with my dog, or spending time with my family.
